Everything's Coming Up Roses!

Here are the roses I've knit so far for the Nicky Epstein Rose Pillow in Holiday VK. I have to give my hands a break from this Lion Suede. It is wreaking havoc on them. They start to hurt after knitting with it for a while. This is all five of the colors I plan to use. The top row, left to right, is: eggplant, garnet, orchard, rose, and fuchsia.

These roses are absolutely lovely! And I love them in all different colors, and now I wish I would have followed you. The suede is a pain to knit with---I am on my second, and I have to knit really loose with it. I don't think knitting the pillow part will be fun. BUT: the finished product, I think, will be stunning.
I also think this would be a wonderful gift for someone, and not to difficult to whip up if you can stand the suede.
Suhpi--did you see my post on the thread re: the yarn for the flower tote?

Melissa...I think I'm going to see what they have at margaret's. I'm thinking of the carrot cake for the trellis instead of using green. My mom is coming tomorrow. maybe she'll buy me some yarn. I do want to do the Mauch chunky.
